In 'Enola Holmes 3' full official trailer, Enola contemplates between love, family legacy

It’s love, family legacy, and a missing Sherlock for Enola Holmes in the full official trailer of "Enola Holmes 3."

While the previous official teaser revealed an action-packed wedding and a kidnapped Sherlock, the newly released full official trailer delves into Enola's personal dilemma.

It again shows Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge) proposing to Enola (Millie Bobby Brown), who says yes. But as she goes through gown fittings, she begins to question whether marriage means giving up the Holmes name she has worked hard for.

“I’ve spent the last six years making myself worthy of the Holmes name. Will I give that up?” she asked.

Then, on her way to her own wedding, Enola discovers from Dr. Watson (Himesh Patel) that her brother, Sherlock (Henry Cavill), has been kidnapped, setting her off on a new adventure.

“Enola Holmes 3” will premiere on July 1 on Netflix.

“Enola Holmes” is based on a series of novels by Nancy Springer, which follow the titular character as she solves crimes as a private detective, much like her brother, the renowned detective Sherlock Holmes.

The first film in 2020 narrated the story of Enola as she investigates the attempted murder of Tewkesbury, while hiding from her brothers and searching for her missing mother. The second film in 2022 followed Enola’s attempts to uncover the perpetrators behind a deadly epidemic at a match factory.
