'One Piece' reboot brings back nostalgic East Blue in official teaser
Are you ready to go back to where it all started?
"The One Piece," the upcoming reboot of the beloved anime based on the world by Eiichiro Oda, just released its official teaser, giving a glimpse of the events of the East Blue saga.
The teaser begins with Gold Roger's execution, the scene that functions as the opening sequence in the original anime. The video then shows the beginnings of Monkey D. Luffy's grand adventure across the seas, including his meeting with key characters such as Koby, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji.
Shanks is also shown along with the rest of the Red Hair Pirates.
"The One Piece" will premiere on Netflix in February 2027.

The original anime, which has been running since 1999, and the original manga, which has been in publication since 1997, are both still ongoing.
The reboot comes after the success of Netflix's live action adaptation of "One Piece."
Season 3, which will cover the Alabasta saga, is set to premiere in 2027. —JCB, GMA News
