'Practical Magic 2': Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman return to fight family curse

The Owens sisters are back to their old magical ways in the official trailer for "Practical Magic 2."

In the much anticipated sequel film, the curse still plagues the family of sister witches Sally (Bullock) and Gillian (Nicole), but this time, it's Sally's daughter Kylie (Joey King) who has to pay the price.

When Kylie's romantic interest, played by Xolo Maridueña, gets into an accident, she and her sister (Maisie Williams) find out that the family curse that kills those who fall in love with an Owens is real.

She then runs off to fix it, prompting Sally and Gillian to go on a journey of finding her.

Directed by Susanne Bier, "Practical Magic 2" also stars Lee Pace, Solly McLeod, with Dianne Wiest, and Stockard Channing.

It will arrive in local cinemas on September 9. —JCB, GMA News
