'Forgotten Island': Lea Salonga, BINI, SB19 headline full tracklist of Filipino-themed songs

“Forgotten Island” has revealed the full tracklist for its upcoming animated film, featuring a star-studded lineup of Filipino artists and songs deeply rooted in Filipino culture, references, and mythology.

Leading the soundtrack is Lea Salonga, who appears on multiple tracks, including “Ninakaw Sa Akin,” “Magnanakaw,” “Balik,” and “Bahagi Mo,” as well as the “Ang Manananggal Suite.”

BINI also joins the soundtrack with “A Parallel World,” which gets a second version at the end of the tracklist featuring Lea.

Meanwhile, Sophia Laforteza of Katseye performs “Never Tear Us Apart,” while H.E.R. and Liza Soberano team up on “BRB” and “Jerk in the Box.”

Last but not least, SB19 appears on the track “Mga Kababayan.”

Beyond its roster of Filipino artists, the tracklist also features references to Filipino mythology, such as “Kapre,” “Sarimanok,” “Batiba,” and “Ang Manananggal Suite.”

The tracklist also doubles down on the themes of memories and forgetting, with songs titled “Nakalimutan,” “If We Remember,” “Forgotten Friendship,” “Memories Are Magic,” and “Paalam, Nakali.”
