Heart Evangelista wears classy jumpsuit for the Senate's opening ceremony

Heart Evangelista is a modern yet classy Filipina for the opening of the Second Regular Session of the 19th Congress in the Senate on Monday.

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress and style icon shared her outfit of choice: a white jumpsuit with butterfly sleeves by Ivar Aseron, paired with a fluffy white handbag.

Heart attended the opening session at the Senate ahead of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s second State of the Nation Address (SONA) in Batasang Pambansa this afternoon.

Marcos last week said his SONA will be “ really very simple ” and would be a “performance report” for Filipinos to see which of his pronouncements have been realized.

SONA 2023 will open with classical opera singer Lara Maigue singing the Lupang Hinirang.

The Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City has already been in lockdown since Thursday, ahead of Marcos’ SONA.
