'Missing' girls in Pakistan only tried to meet BTS in South Korea

How far would you go to meet BTS? Two teenage girls, aged 13 and 14, were reported missing in Pakistan last Saturday, and police discovered they only tried to meet BTS in South Korea.

The girls have since been found in Lahore City in Pakistan, more than 750 miles from their home in the town of Korangi in Karachi City, according to Abraiz Ali Abbasi, a senior police superintendent of the area, who told CNN. They had taken a train ride there.

The police got a break in the case after they found a diary, which laid out the girls' plans to travel and see BTS.

The diary listed timetables and their plans to run away with a third friend. The police also interviewed the latter.

Coordinations have been made to take the girls back home.

BTS is currently not making any new music since band member Jin had to serve in the military. Other band members will have to do the same until about 2025 when they are set to reunite and make music again.

However, despite being temporarily disbanded, band members still remain hugely popular, even managing to cause a recent frenzy online, like band member, SUGA's stunning portraits. — LA, GMA Integrated News
