BINI officially named PH tourism ambassadors

BINI is officially the tourism ambassadors of islang "Pantropiko!"

Over the weekend, the Department of Tourism (DOT) announced that the Nation's Girl Group is the newest addition to its roster of celebrity ambassadors, alongside Korean stars Kim Myung Soo, Choi Bo Min, Seo In Guk, Vanessa Hudgens, and Michelle Dee.

"Get ready to explore more iconic destinations, discover hidden gems, and savor flavors worth traveling for with [BINI]," DOT wrote.

Aside from BINI, another P-pop group will also be named Philippine tourism ambassadors soon.

In April, BINI made history as the first all-Filipino girl group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California.

Last week, BINI announced that it has postponed the European leg of their Signals world tour originally scheduled from August 30 to September 11.

The Signals world tour kicked off with two shows in Manila in June.

The girls are set to perform at Summer Sonic in Japan in August.

BINI is part of the OST of "Forgotten Island," with the song "A Parallel World."
