Eastern Petroleum rolls back EC Gas LPG price

Eastern Petroleum on Saturday rolled back the price of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) brand EC Gas.

In an advisory, Eastern Petroleum said it slashed the price of EC Gas LPG by P6.50 per kilogram or P71.50 for an 11-kilogram cylinder.

The price adjustment took effect at 6 a.m., Saturday, December 1.

Petron Corp. and Solane earlier implemented big-time roll back in the prices of its LPG products. 

Eastern Petroleum also reminded consumers to check LPG tanks for weight (especially for steel tanks), condition, and safety features.

"Eastern Petroleum made this reminder in view of several reports that some LPG tanks are under-filled by as much three kilograms by unscrupulous LPG refillers," it said. —KG, GMA News
