Lego takes a stand vs. racism and inequality, donates $4M to support black children

Lego has chosen to stand with the black community in its fight against racism and injustice following the death of George Floyd.

The toy production company released a statement on Twitter while Black Lives Matter protests rage across the entire United States — online and offline.

"We stand with the black community against racism and inequality. There is much to do," it said.

Lego also said it will donate $4 million to support black children and educate "all children about racial equality."

Lego is among the many companies who firmly supported the Black Lives Matter movement.

Nike, Netflix, Facebook, and Twitter also backed the movement. Earlier, Nickelodeon went off air for the same duration that the Minneapolis cop kneeled on Floyd's neck.

Floyd's death sparked outrage across all 50 states of America, with thousands taking to the streets to protest the unjust treatment suffered by the black community.
