Cebu Pacific opens 2021 with P88 promo fares


Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Wednesday announced its first seat sale for the year, with a month-long promo of one-way fares as low as P88 to over 30 domestic destinations.

In an advisory, Cebu Pacific said the promo will be available until January 31, 2021, covering travel dates from January 13 to December 31, 2021.

Flights included in the promo are from Clark to Bacolod, Boracay, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Camiguin, Clark, Coron, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Ozamis, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, or Zamboana.

Others are from Manila to Bacolod, Bohol, Boracay, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cauayan, Cebu, Coron, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Kalibo, Legazpi, Marinduque, Masbate, Naga, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Roxas, San Jose Mindoro, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Virac, or Zamboaga; and from Zamboanga to Tawi-Tawi.

Commercial air travel to and from Metro Manila was restricted from March 2020 and only resumed in June last year, after the easing of the community quarantine.

Cebu Pacific, along with other carriers Air Asia and the Philippine Airlines, earlier appealed for the government to provide P8.6 billion in assistance to the airline industry given losses incurred during the period. — LA, GMA News
