Actress Krista Miller, 6 others nabbed in drug busts

Police on Monday announced the arrest of actress Krista Miller and six others in separate buy-bust operations in Valenzuela and Quezon cities.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) nabbed Miller, real name Kristalyn Engle, at past 9 p.m. last September 30 in Barangay Tiburcio de Leon, Valenzuela City. Her companion, Aaron Medina, was also arrested in the operation.

The police said Miller was arrested after selling P3,000 worth of shabu to a police-poseur buyer.

QCPD chief Senior Superintendent Guillermo Eleazar said an operation was planned against Miller after her name was leaked by sexy models Jeramie Padolina and Liaa Alelin Bolla, who were arrested the same night in a separate operation in Barangay Bagumbuhay, Project 4 in Quezon City.

Arrested with Padolina and Bolla were John Inri, Justine del Rosario, and Renato Hernandez.

The QCPD recovered sachets of shabu, drug paraphernalia, a wallet, and cellphones from the suspects.

In 2014, Miller caught the headlines after being rumored of visiting a convicted drug lord in hospital.

The actress had clarified that she was only selling a condominium unit to the convicted drug lord.

Miller was the second show business personality to be arrested by the Quezon City Police District.
