Sinas warns Dacera case suspects: Surrender in 72 hours or we will hunt you down

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Debold Sinas on Tuesday threatened to “hunt down” suspects in the death of 23-year-old flight attendant Christine Dacera if they do not surrender.

“This is a fair warning. Surrender within 72 hours or we will hunt you down using force if necessary,” he said in a statement.

“We know who you are. Your family must turn you over to the police. Those found to be abetting your escape will also be arrested,” Sinas added.

The PNP earlier said three people have been nabbed and charged with rape with homicide in connection to Dacera’s death.

Nine other people remain at large: Gregorio Angelo de Guzman, Louie de Lima, Clark Jezreel Rapinan, Rey Englis, Mark Anthony Rosales, Jammyr Cunanan, Valentine Rosales, a certain Ed Madrid, and a certain Paul.

De Guzman has denied allegations that he raped the victim.

Dacera was found lifeless in a Makati hotel room on New Year’s Day.

She checked into the hotel with friends for a New Year’s Eve celebration.
