Honeylet cries foul over video linking her, Kitty to drug trade

President Rodrigo Duterte's partner Honeylet Avanceña has cried foul over the series of online videos linking members of the presidential family to illegal drugs.

According Joseph Morong's report for 24 Oras, Avanceña deplored the mention of her name as well as that of her daughter Kitty in the second episode of the "Ang Totoong Narcolist."

"Tell them, pag sure oi. Napaka walang hiya ko naman na nanay kung ipangalan ko sa anak ko," Avanceña texted GMA News.

The video series, "Ang Totoong Narcolist," has a certain Bikoy claiming that he was a former member of a drug syndicate member and that he had evidence of the involvement of the president's eldest son Paolo Duterte in the illegal trade.

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, whom Paolo had accused as the mastermind behind the series, has denied the allegation.

After the release of a second video, the President's daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, said Friday that she was the target of the video.

The second video accused Sara's teenage sister, Kitty, as well as  Avanceña of receiving payoffs from the illegal drug trade and depositing such transactions in banks in Hong Kong.

Duterte, who has since dismissed the videos as "propaganda" from the opposition, had aired strong speculation that his political enemies, including Trillanes, were behind the video. —NB, GMA News
