Malacañang exhorts Bar examinees to ‘rise to the challenge’

Malacañang on Sunday sent its best wishes to the 8,245 aspiring lawyers who were taking the Bar examinations at the University of Santo Tomas.

“We offer our sincere prayers to our legal aspirants who toiled day and night poring over their law books, court decisions, and jurisprudence in preparation for this life-changing moment,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a statement.

“To our bar candidates, good luck as we wish you all the best. Believe in yourselves and give your best shot. Make your family, school, and community proud. This is your moment. Rise to the challenge!” he added.

November 3 marks the first of four Sundays of the Bar.

Last year, 1,800 out of 8,155 (22.07 percent) examinees who completed all four Sundays successfully passed the Bar exams.
