PNP hunting members of West African drug group after Nigerian member killed in Pasig ops

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Debold Sinas said Tuesday the Nigerian who was killed in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Pasig City was a member of the West African Drug Syndicate.

Speaking to reporters, Sinas said the police continue to look for other members of the said drug syndicate in the Philippines who are allegedly luring overseas Filipino workers to be "drug mules."

"We are looking for the other members na nandito.

The said Nigerian, identified as Emmanuel Christopher Chukwuma, allegedly fought against authorities during the buy-bust operation.
