PNP records 164 new COVID-19 cases, driving up total to 25,866

The Philippine National Police on Monday said it has recorded 164 new COVID-19 cases among its ranks, driving up the total number of infections in the organization to 25,866.

The total active cases is 1,865, based on data from the PNP Health Service.

Meanwhile, 89 new recoveries were recorded, making the total number of recoveries at 23,930.

One new death was also reported, which makes the death toll at 71. 

The Philippines on Sunday reported 7,302 new COVID-19 infections, pushing the country's total tally to 1,315,639. —KG, GMA News
