NBI has individual who may shed light on disappearance of Jang Lucero’s girlfriend

The National Bureau of Investigation has in custody an individual who may shed light on the disappearance of Jang Lucero's girlfriend Meyah Amatorio and Amatorio's nephew Adrian Ramos.

According to a report on QRT on Wednesday, the NBI has not released the name of the individual, but found in their home a cellphone that was one of the items that went missing when Amatorio and Ramos were abducted.

The NBI said that this may be a big breakthrough in its investigation into Amatorio and Ramos's kidnapping and Lucero's murder.

Lucero, a driver, was found stabbed to death in her car in Calamba, Laguna in June, hours after she picked up passengers who booked her services to drive them allegedly to Metro Manila.

Amatorio and Ramos disappeared on July 29, apparently having been abducted by armed men in Laguna.

Amatorio is still missing, but Ramos turned up dead 12 hours after they disappeared, tied up and with stab wounds. His body was found just meters away from the site where Lucero's body was discovered.

Amatorio earlier denied having any part in Lucero's murder. — BM, GMA News
