DFA: No passport, document authentication services on Feb. 13

The Department of Foreign Affairs will not render passport and document authentication services this coming Monday, Feb. 13, in observance of the Parañaque City Day. In an announcement on its website Tuesday night, the DFA said its Office of Consular Affairs in Parañaque City will be closed on that day. "The (DFA-OCA) wishes to inform the public that it will be closed for passport services and document authentication on 13 February 2012," it said. It added the date "was declared a special non-working holiday by the Parañaque City Government in celebration of Parañaque City Day." According to the DFA, the OCA's operations will resume on Feb. 14. While the DFA main office is in Pasay City, the OCA is located at the Aseana Business Park along Macapagal Boulevard in Tambo village in Parañaque City. — LBG, GMA News
