i-Listen kicked off the new year strongly, landing in Spotify’s Top 4 as of January 1, 2026. In the months ahead, Kara David unveils a new season of compelling stories that inspire hope and give voice to real-life struggles and triumphs.

 

 

 

LIVING, LOVING, AND HEALING WITH HIV

On its first episode of 2026, i-Listen opens the new year with a story of hope, resilience, and renewal, featuring Lorenz Edilbert Olleres, a content creator and HIV advocate who was diagnosed with HIV at age 18 and has been living with the virus for 12 years.

In the episode, Lorenz reflects on the fear and denial that marked his early diagnosis, the loss of close friends to AIDS, and the stigma and discrimination he faced within society and his own family. He shares how misinformation and limited HIV education delayed his treatment, leading to serious health challenges that became a turning point in his life.

Now 31, Lorenz speaks about healing, how access to treatment, community support, and self-acceptance transformed his journey from survival to purpose. He currently serves as a U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable) Ambassador for the Department of Health and was named Advocate of the Year by Love Yourself Inc. in 2024.
