Free planetarium shows, telescope viewing in QC from Aug. 10-13 

The public can enjoy free planetarium shows and telescope viewing in Quezon City from August 10 to 13 as PAGASA marks Philippine Space Week 2026.

The planetarium shows will be available at the PAGASA Planetarium, Science Garden at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Meanwhile, a free telescope viewing is open to the public on August 13 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the PAGASA Astronomical Observatory, UP Diliman.

The state weather bureau said the guests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis as there are no reservations.

Under Proclamation No. 302, Philippine Space Week is an annual nationwide celebration to promote space science awareness, honor Filipinos and their contributions to the field, and highlight space technology for national development. —Mariel Celine Serquiña/AOL, GMA News
