Magnitude 5.1 earthquake hits Jabonga in Agusan del Norte

A magnitude 5.1 earthquake occurred in Jabonga, Agusan del Norte on Friday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
The tremor was recorded at 5:12 p.m. and had a depth of 10 kilometers.
According to PHIVOLCS, the earthquake was tectonic in origin.
The following areas recorded these intensities:
Intensity II: Surigao City, Surigao del Norte
Intensity I: Cagayan de Oro, Balingasag, and Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental; San Francisco, Southern Leyte
