Gmail users can now attach images with drag and drop
Here's another reason to embrace the new "Compose Mail" feature in Gmail: you can now attach images via drag-and-drop.
Tech site LifeHacker.com said this is a departure from Gmail's previous behavior of inserting images inline if a user drags and drops them into the message.
"Up until recently, if you used the drag and drop method to add images to messages in Gmail, it would insert them inline. Now, however, you can include them as attachments instead," it said.
When a user places the image at the bottom above the text "Drop to attach," it will be included as a separate attachment.
"This fixes a fairly major annoyance that's been around for months, and should be live for all users now," it said. —VC, GMA News
