Google+ for Android app can now cast photos, videos, links

Owners of Android devices can now Chromecast their videos, photos and links to a connected TV, with an updated app from Google+.

The updated app gives users the ability to cast photos, videos and links, though it appears to be available for only the Android platform so far, The Next Web reported.

A cast icon at the top right hand of a user's stream indicates the feature is available.

"Just tap that, choose your Chromecast and your feed will appear on a connected TV. You can also choose photos and albums and tap the same icon to see those on the big screen," it said.
