iTunes Connect offline due to suspected bug

A suspected bug that has caused some Apple software developers to log in to the wrong accounts has caused the iTunes Connect service to be taken offline, a tech site reported early Friday (PHL time).

The Next Web reported many developers complained about the error via micro-blogging service Twitter.

It said iTunes Connect, a central for developers of iOS and Mac software, showed apps and usernames from different people.

"When developers try to access one of the apps, they receive an error message leading them back to their own account," it said.  — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
