Skype 7.5 for Mac supports 14 new languages

Users of Skype on Apple's OS X may benefit from more multilingual videoconferencing, with the latest Skype - version 7.5 - supporting up to 14 languages.

Microsoft said the 14 added languages will allow more people in different parts of the world to communicate using Skype.

"We also fixed a bunch of crash issues and significantly reduced CPU consumption from animated emoticons, making the app more stable and efficient," it said.

New languages supported include Hindi, Turkish, Czech, Ukrainian, Greek, Hungarian, Romanian, Indonesian, Catalan, Croatian, Slovak, Vietnamese, Thai and Malay.

However, Skype 7.5 for Mac requires Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or above. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
