Ready for a pink, Force Touch-enabled iPhone?

After black, silver, gold, and space gray, Apple may be adding yet another variant to its iPhone lineup: a pink phone.
Tech site The Verge, citing a report on the Wall Street Journal, said Apple is now testing the pink "option" for its popular smartphone.
But it said that while Apple's plans could still change, there are rumors the mass production for some components could start by May.
However, it added the new iPhones are not likely to have major design changes from the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus as Apple "almost always keeps its phone bodies around for two years."
Meanwhile, The Verge also said Apple is planning to come up with new iPhones that incorporate the pressure-sensitiev Force Touch-equipped displays.
The pressure-sensing technology allows the device to detect how hard a user is pushing on the screen. It is now in the new MacBook and updated MacBook Pro trackpads.
Force Touch is also on the newly unveiled Apple Watch. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
