LEGO Batman and LEGO Movie sequel arriving sooner than planned

Warner Bros. studio has just announced the release dates for three of their LEGO movies. The release date for the untitled LEGO Batman spinoff movie has been moved up to February 10, 2017, while the relase date for Ninjago—a ninja-themed LEGO movie—has been pushed back to Septermber 22, 2017 for the US. The LEGO Movie Sequel will be opening one week earlier than planned, premiering on May 18, 2018.

 

It was previously reported that the LEGO Batman movie would hit theaters after Ninjago.

 

The announcement was made by Dan Fellman and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, Warner Bros.’ presidents of domestic and international distribution, respectively.

 

“We are very excited about dating our upcoming LEGO animated features, which already have a worldwide fan following, built on the foundation of the first film. These three films already in the pipeline are just the beginning of a creative and diverse animation slate that will be delighting audiences for years to come,” said Fellman. — TJD, GMA News
