Type ‘mahaba’ on your Facebook status and watch hearts fly all over your screen
Not a few Filipinos recently discovered and took delight in the secret Facebook trick triggered by the word "mahaba".
Type the Filipino word on your Facebook status, hit the post button, and watch hearts fly all over your screen.

It turns out, ‘mahaba’ is a Swahili word that means love or affection. According to a Medium post written by Owen Yin, "mahaba" is one of 28 words that trigger the floating hearts effect, along with “xoxo” and “besos y abrazos”.
The floating hearts effect is one of several Text Delights from Facebook, spotted on the social media platform sometime in early August 2017.
Most of us are probably aware of the confetti and balloons (triggered by congratulatory messages), but did you know you can also have animated thumbs up illustrations flying across your screen? Type the word "rad".
