iPhone X goes on sale in PHL for P64,490 at Apple website
The iPhone X could now be yours if you've got some extra cash lying around.
The phone is available in the United States for $999 for the 64GB model and $1,149 for the 256GB model.
For those who don't want the massive cash-out, the country's mobile carriers are also offering the phone on plans.
Globe offers the phone for P3,399 (Plan 1799 + P1,600 device fee) for 24 months, while Smart offers the phone for P3,199/month (Plan 1,499 + P1,700 device fee).
The iPhone X is the most expensive phone the company has ever launched. There is no home button on the iPhone X, a key feature in previous phones.
The fingerprint sensor is gone as well, replaced by FaceID, which unlocks the phone by recognizing a face with the help of a front-facing "TrueDepth" infrared camera.
The iPhone X has three cameras, one in front and two at the back, which reviewers said were "top notch" and the best so far in an iPhone.
The device's battery seemed to last up to a day, even after running heavy-duty apps, reviewers said.
