YouTube acknowledges problem on the website as #YouTubeDown trends on Twitter

YouTube acknowledged that there indeed was a problem in the video streaming site.
"If you’re having trouble watching videos on YouTube right now, you’re not alone – our team is aware of the issue and working on a fix," YouTube tweeted early on Thursday morning (Manila time).
"We’ll follow up here with any updates," it added.

Users have been complaining about the platform being down early Thursday morning (Manila time) sending #YouTubeDown trending on Twitter.
According to The Verge, it was "a worldwide outage that prevented videos from loading for roughly an hour."
