Flash flood, landslide warnings still up in Ilocos and Benguet
While the rest of the country enjoys relatively fair weather, residents of Northern Luzon have been cautioned against potential flash floods and landslides from rains brought by the prevailing Southwest Monsoon.
In its 11 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said heavy monsoon rains may be expected the Ilocos region and Benguet province.
"Residents in these areas are advised to be alert against possible flash floods and landslides," the state weather agency said.
Also, PAGASA said occasional rains are expected over Zambales, Bataan, Cagayan Valley, and the rest of the Cordilleras. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
