LIST: Canceled sea trips on Sept. 5, 2026 due to Habagat

Several sea trips were canceled on Saturday due to inclement weather brought by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

In an advisory, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) said the following trips had been canceled as of 8 a.m. on September 5, 2026:

PMO NCR-South

• TMO Pasig/Port of Pasig River: JUNE ASTER (Atienza Interisland Ferries, Inc.), Manila to Coron, El Nido, and Liminangcong
• TMO Pasig/Port of Pasig River: OCTOBER LAVENDER (Atienza Interisland Ferries, Inc.), Manila to Coron

PMO-Mindoro

• Port of Puerto Galera: MV CITY OF BACOLOD, 7:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Puerto Galera to Batangas

PMO-Batangas

• Fastcraft: SuperCat, Batangas Port to Calapan

The PPA clarified that it does not cancel trips. If the Philippine Coast Guard issues a no-sail policy, “trips are automatically canceled," it said.

It added that shipping lines may cancel trips, subject to compliance with the terms of their licenses. — RSJ/VBL, GMA News
