LIST: Canceled sea trips on Sept. 9, 2026 due to Habagat
Some sea trips were canceled on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), according to the Department of Transportation.
Below are the canceled sea trips:
Port Management Office (PMO) Batangas
• Port of Batangas: SuperCat (Due to Rough Seas Condition)
• Port of Batangas: Island Water (Due to Vessel Technical Concerns)
PMO Bicol
• TMO Pio Duran: Kho Shipping Lines Inc., Mobo, Masbate to Pio Duran, Albay and vice versa (Preventive Maintenance Service)
• TMO Camarines: Starhorse Shipping Lines Inc., San Pascual, Masbate to Pasacao, Camarines Sur and vice versa (Southwest Monsoon)
• Baseport Legazpi: Rapu-Rapu Batan Transport Cooperative, Rapu-Rapu, Albay - Legazpi City, Albay and vice versa (Preventive Maintenance Service)
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will continue to bring cloudy skies and rains over Luzon and the Visayas in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said in its Wednesday morning forecast.
PAGASA raised the orange rainfall warning at 8 a.m. over Bataan and parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, and Zambales due to heavy rains expected from the Southwest Monsoon. —KG, GMA News
