Cavite to implement number coding scheme starting Feb. 5

The provincial government of Cavite will start implementing the number coding scheme next week.

In a statement issued Friday, the provincial government said the number coding scheme will be fully implemented on major roads starting February 5.

Plate numbers conduction sticker numbers ending in 1 and 2 will be covered by the number coding every Monday, 3 and 4 on Tuesdays, 5 and 6 on Wednesdays, 7 and 8 on Thursday and 9 and 0 every Friday.

It will be implemented from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The number coding's coverage include Aguinaldo Highway, covering the whole stretch of Bacoor to Dasmariñas-Silang boundary; Governor's Drive, from Carmona to Trece Martires City-Tanza boundary; and Molino-Salawag-Paliparan Road from Zapote, Bacoor to Paliparan in Dasmariñas City.

The provincial government said private car and vans are covered by the coding scheme. —ALG, GMA News
