Dimasalang Bridge northbound undergoes rehab, major repair
The second phase of the rehabilitation and major repair of Dimasalang Bridge began on Saturday, May 23, the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) said.
The said rehabilitation will be for the bridge's northbound direction and will last until the second week of October 2026.
The northbound lanes leading to Dimasalang Bridge were closed to traffic early on Saturday, according to Olan Bola of Super Radyo dzBB.
The MPIO released on Friday maps showing the alternate routes that vehicles may take while the bridge repair is being conducted.

The MPIO advised motorists to plan their trips, take alternate routes, and allot for more travel time as the road works continue.
In September 2025, Dimasalang Bridge's southbound part underwent rehabilitation which lasted for three months. —KG, GMA News
