LIST: Canceled trips on July 8, 2026 due to Super Typhoon Inday
Trips of sea vessels in several ports were canceled Wednesday morning amid the inclement weather brought by Super Typhoon Inday.
In a social media post, the Philippine Ports Authority said the following trips are affected as of 8 a.m.:
Batangas
- 2Go Vessel: Odiongan to Caticlan (8 a.m.)
- 2Go Vessel: Odiongan to Batangas (7 p.m.)
Mindoro
- Port of Calapan: STARLITE EAGLE, Port of Calapan to Batangas
- Port of Calapan: PROMETHEUS 55, Port of Calapan to Batangas
- Port of Lubang: MV OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP, Port of Lubang to Nasugbu, Batangas
- Port of Lubang: MV OUR LADY OF ST. THERESE, Port of Lubang to Nasugbu, Batangas
- Port of Puerto Galera: PTERIPPUS I (8:15 a.m.)
- Port of Puerto Galera: PTERIPPUS I (2:30 p.m.)
- Port of Puerto Galera: CITY OF BACOLOD (12:30 p.m.)
- Port of Puerto Galera: CITY OF BACOLOD (3:15 p.m.)
- Port of Puerto Galera: PTERIPPUS I (3:45 p.m.)
- Port of Puerto Galera: Island Water (9 a.m.)
- Port of Puerto Galera: Island Water (1:45 p.m.)
Zamboanga
- Zamboanga City to Sulu and Tawi-Tawi
Super Typhoon Inday is now inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility with seven areas under Signal No. 1. It enhanced the southwest monsoon (Habagat), which will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over parts of the Visayas and Mindanao,
As of 3 a.m. the center of the eye of Super Typhoon Inday was located at 1,420 kilometers east of Northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour near the center, gustiness of up to 230 km/h and moving westward at 25 km/h.—AOL, GMA News
