PPA clarified that it does not cancel trips, but adheres to the advisory from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

"If PCG issues a no sail policy, trips are automatically cancelled because ships are not allowed to sail. Shipping lines may also cancel trips subject to compliance with the terms of their Certificate of Public Convenience issued by the Maritime Industry Authority. —LDF, GMA News
