Yeng Constantino reveals deeper reason why Ryan Bang 'seenzoned' her

Yeng Constantino has explained her viral moment with Ryan Bang during her "Biyaheng Bente: 20th Anniversary Concert."

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Monday, Yeng said she wanted to correct what she said that he "seenzoned" her before, because there is a deeper reason behind why they drifted apart.

Yeng said she messaged Ryan to ask how he was after the concert, as everyone was worried about him, even Yeng's handlers.

"He replied to me Tito Boy, I'm super happy because he became vulnerable to me," she said in Filipino.

Tito Boy then revealed that Ryan felt he did not deserve Yeng because he could not afford to take her out on dates. He learned to cook for her and invited her at his home.

Yeng said she only found out about this story after the concert.

"Did you know, the reason for that was, I studied to cook for you because I can't treat you," Yeng recalled Ryan telling her.

"I told Ryan, 'I'm sorry. I don't go to guys' houses,'" Yeng added.

Yeng also shared that Ryan felt bad when he saw her with her bible group, which had with guys and girls, go on a trip to Tagaytay.

"'You said you don't go to guys' houses, but why were you with guys on an out of town trip,'" Yeng recalled Ryan saying.

Yeng then thanked Ryan for opening up because she now understands what happened.

"That really, really hurt him," Yeng said. "Actually, that's just one of the reasons. There are many more that he messaged to me that I understood him now."

Yeng said it was very important for Ryan to explain to her what happened to avoid misunderstandings.

"I was glad. In the conversation between us, we were able to properly have closure," she said.

Yeng also revealed that her song "B.A.B.A.Y" was inspired by Ryan.

Ryan previously became emotional on "It's Showtime" after recalling his past with Yeng.

Yeng held her concert over the weekend, which Ryan attended with Vice Ganda. She apologized to Ryan for what happened during the show, acknowledging that she had acted recklessly.

The singer-songwriter is now married to Yan Asuncion. Meanwhile, Ryan was previously engaged to Paola Huyong. He confirmed their split in June.

Yeng is one of the coaches in the upcoming season of "The Voice Kids Philippines," which will premiere on GMA Network on Sunday at 7:15 p.m. after "Bubble Gang." —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
