Yeng Constantino reveals she auditioned for Sexbomb Girls

Did you know that Sexbomb Yeng could have happened?

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Monday, Yeng Constantino revealed that she auditioned for the Sexbomb Girls when she was 14 years old.

“I’m really not good at dancing, so my reaction was, it was a good thing I wasn’t qualified,” the singer-songwriter said in Filipino.

Yeng added that she auditioned because of her mother’s wishes.

“But my mom, she really wanted me to be an artist. And at that time, of course, Ma’am Rochelle was super famous, Ma’am Jopay. My mom said, 'Maybe this is the way. Try it out,'” Yeng recalled.

Yeng also noted that the Sexbomb Girls are her idols, and that she is among those who were “raised" by the Sexbomb.

“They are so legendary. Every song they release, everyone will dance to it,” she said.

Yeng is one of the judges of the upcoming season of “The Voice Kids” alongside Julie Anne San Jose and Gloc-9. It is set to premiere on GMA Network on September 13. —Nika Roque/CDC, GMA News
