SexBomb Girls perform 'Mama Mama' on 'All-Out Sundays'

The SexBomb Girls brought the fun to "All-Out Sundays" as they performed their latest single "Mama Mama" on Sunday.

After showcasing the top energy and synchronization they are known for, the iconic girl group shared the meaning behind their new song.

"Because we were away from the industry for so long, we had our own lives, Aira Bermudez said in Filipino, adding that some of them became moms and entrepreneurs.

Aira said that following their numerous "Get Get Aw" reunion concerts, they realized that it was about time they released a new track.

"For many years, those who grew up with SexBomb, we inspired them to continue fighting for their lives. What that they don't know is they also inspired us to fight and continue the SexBomb journey," she said.

She said it's their way of saying "we see you and we love you."

Rochelle Pangilinan also shared that the P-Pop groups who appeared in the music video were those who were free on the day of the shoot. She said that instead of competing with other groups, they want to collaborate with them.

The "Get Get Aw" reunion concerts are also nominated for the Filipino Music Awards.

"We SexBomb, we are always grateful and so thankful for all the blessings that we get," Mia Pangyarihan said. "Imagine, from being moms, now, we are on big stages not just in the Philippines but in other countries."

Mia thanked everybody for supporting and believing in them.

The group released albums including "Sumayaw, Sumunod: The Best of the SexBomb Girls" in 2005 and "Daisy Siete: V-Day" in 2006.

The SexBomb Girls first reunited for a concert at the Araneta Coliseum last December, but the overwhelming ticket demand kept them performing for more shows. They also headed on a world tour, visiting cities in Australia and the United States.

Rochelle also previously teased that the Sexbomb Girls are working on new projects for their fans, including new music and a documentary series. They also released a coffee table book about their reunion.

The SexBomb Girls are known for the dance hits "The Spaghetti Song" and "Halukay Ube," among others. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
