'GGV': Vice Ganda reveals Alden Richards’ emotional moment lasted almost 10 minutes

The pilot episode of “Gandang Gabi Vice” appears to be a memorable one both for Vice Ganda and the show’s first guest, Alden Richards.

During the interview, the Kapuso Multimedia Star unexpectedly broke down in tears while talking about the pressure of finding love and realizing that what he was actually lacking was self-love.

On X, Vice revealed that Alden’s emotional moment lasted almost 10 minutes.

“And I almost didn’t want to continue the interview because I felt so sorry for him,” she wrote in Filipino.

“He was crying so hard but he insisted on continuing [the interview],” she added.

Alden replied on Vice's post, saying, “Love you, Vice.”

In the show, Alden admitted that "for the longest time, I’ve been looking for the one.”

“Maybe, for a change, I’ll just wait for that person to come,” he continued, before breaking down.

“For the longest time, I’ve been looking for love from another person, and I realized that what I was lacking was self-love,” he said while crying.

“It took so long,” he added. “I only realized it now.”

“Gandang Gabi Vice” is a collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN. It airs every Sunday at 10 p.m.

Meanwhile, Alden currently stars in the Viu Series “Love, Siargao” opposite Nadine Lustre.

He is also set to star in the upcoming Kapuso medical series, “Code Grey.”
