Miguel Tanfelix renews contract with GMA Network

Miguel Tanfelix has renewed his ties with GMA Network!

The homegrown actor this week signed a contract with Senior Vice-President for Programming Talent Management Worldwide and Support Group and President and CEO of GMA Pictures Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdez, First Vice-President and Head of Sparkle GMA Artist Center Joy Marcelo, Assistant Vice-President for Talent Management Vic Del Rosario, and Office in Charge for Entertainment Group and Vice-President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy.

In an interview with press, Miguel looked back on his 23-year-long career, expressing disbelief in how a young kid who used to watch the first season of “Starstruck” — and later competing in “Starstruck Kids” — reached this far.

Miguel said he lasted long in GMA because his values align with the network when it comes to the goal of producing superior entertainment for Filipinos.

“As an actor, that’s important to me. GMA has programs that teach culture to Filipinos, history to students. Now, I’m working on [“Taskforce Firewall,”] which spreads awareness about the dangers of modern technology. And there are also shows who give inspirations to people who dream,” Miguel said.

He added that he is grateful that such quality projects come his way,

Miguel added that GMA is his family, that it taught him about the industry and believed in him first.
