Kyline Alcantara says fallout with Bianca Umali not because of Miguel Tanfelix

Kyline Alcantara clarified that her past misunderstanding with Bianca Umali had nothing to do with Miguel Tanfelix.

On “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Friday, the “Taskforce Firewall” star was asked if she and Bianca had a conflict because of Miguel.

"Actually, no. No po," Kyline said.

The actress explained that she and Bianca drifted apart due to misunderstandings and miscommunication, but eventually decided to talk things through.

"Kaya nga po naging close kami ulit, kasi siyempre may mga misunderstanding, miscommunication, kaya po kami hindi naging OK ni Bianca at that time. Pero nakapag-usap na po kami," she said.

According to Kyline, they initially thought Miguel was the reason behind their falling out, but later realized that was not the case after having an honest conversation.

"Nothing to do with Miguel. So noong nakapag-usap na po kami ni Bianca, noong time na 'yon akala namin dahil kay Miguel. Pero noong nakapag-usap na po ulit kami, ah wala naman pala. Hindi naman pala dahil kay Miguel," she shared.

Reflecting on the experience, Kyline said the biggest lesson she learned was to be careful when choosing friends.

"Ang leksyon ay: Choose your friends!" she said.

Kyline also shared that she and Bianca have since rebuilt their friendship and are now closer than ever.

"I'm so happy na dumirekta ako mismo kay Bianca because we have deep love for each other. I'm so happy na napakinggan namin ang isa't isa. Now we are so close, we are so OK," she said.

The actress added that they have already spent time together outside of work, including having dinner at Bianca's home, where the latter cooked her specialty, sinigang.

She also shared that she has bonded with Bianca and her boyfriend, Ruru Madrid.

"Napaglutuan niya na ako ng specialty niya na sinigang. Nakapunta na ako sa bahay niya. Bonding with Ruru. Ganyan. So sobrang OK na po," Kyline said.

In a 2023 “Fast Talk” interview, Miguel revealed that he dated Bianca and Kyline in the past.

Now, Miguel is in a relationship with Ysabel Ortega.

Kyline and Miguel currently star in “Taskforce Firewall” with Kylie Padilla, Luis Hontiveros, Lexi Gonzales, and Cheska Fausto, among others.
