Miguel Tanfelix reacts to fans comparing him to Timothee Chalamet

Social media has been abuzz with comparisons between Miguel Tanfelix and Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet.

The two actors have been sporting a similar look and hairstyle in recent months.

In an interview with GMA News Online following his contract renewal with GMA Network, Miguel joked, “Actually, Timothée Chalamet messaged me, ‘stop.’”

“Me, I don’t see it,” he added in a more serious note.

Miguel however has nothing but praise for the "Dune" star.

“He’s my idol because of the materials he does,” Miguel said. “But if that’s what people see, thank you. Because he’s handsome too, Timothée Chalamet.”

Meanwhile, Miguel, who has already showcased his range across heavy drama, sci-fi, action, and more genres, says there is more he still wants to do.

“Perhaps, my goal next year is to do a movie. Any role, but it should be a movie,” he said.

Miguel currently stars in "Taskforce Firewall," which airs weeknights at 8:50 p.m. after "The Master Cutter." —JCB, GMA News
