Apl.de.Ap reveals he once made a move on Nicole Scherzinger

Apl.de.Ap made quite the revelation on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday.

The singer was asked about the friendships between Filipino-American artists in the United States, and one of those mentioned was Nicole Scherzinger.

"One day, I hit up on her," Apl.de.Ap said. "I'm like, 'Hey Nicole, do you wanna come over? I'm gonna cook you chicken adobo.'"

"She's like, 'Kuya! You're my kuya!' I was like aww, you know when they call you 'kuya,' it's over, you know," he added.

H.E.R. also treats Apl.de.Ap. like an older brother.

"Every time I see H.E.R., she's like 'Kuya, we gotta do another song together, another 'Bebot.' I'm like, 'let's go,'" he said. "She's super proud and talented."

Apl.de.Ap also looked back on his friendship with Bruno Mars. He said they were on tour in Europe once and had a conversation.

"And [Bruno] just came back from the Philippines and was like, 'man, if another interviewer asks me about you!' I'm like, 'They're just proud.'"

"I really wanna do a song with Bruno, so one day," Apl.de.Ap said.

Apl.de.Ap recently released the three-track EP, "PPP." For him, the songs in "PPP" are his way of expressing his love for his homeland and encouraging Filipinos amid the challenges in the country.

He partnered with GMA Music for the EP.
