Mika Salamanca waiting for God's sign before taking relationship with Will Ashley to next level
Mika Salamanca is leaving her love life in God’s hands as she waits for a sign before deciding whether to take her relationship with Will Ashley to the next level.
In their GMA News interview with Nelson Canlas, which aired on “24 Oras” on Thursday, Mika and Will were asked about the real score between them and whether they were already in a relationship in real life.
Mika admitted that she had yet to give Will an answer but hinted that they could be close to becoming an official couple.
“Not yet, but we’re getting close,” she said in Filipino, laughing.
When asked what she was waiting for, the Sparkle star said she was seeking divine guidance before making a decision.
“Perhaps I’m waiting for the go signal from the Lord. You’ll feel it when it comes,” she shared.
The actress also revealed that she had a specific sign in mind but opted not to disclose it, joking that Will might act on it if she told him what it was.
“Of course, we’re getting older. I want my next partner to be the one. I’m tired of getting hurt and tired of failing,” she said.
“That’s why I really pray to the Lord that when You give me someone new, please let that person be the right one, someone I can truly spend my life with,” she added.
Meanwhile, their “Delivery Boi” co-star Vince Maristela teased them about their sweetness on set.
“Whenever I’m taping for ‘Delivery Boi,’ I can’t help but wish I had that, too,” he said in Filipino.
In August, Mika revealed that Will courted her multiple times, but she kept rejecting him.
Will previously revealed in an interview with Aubrey Carampel on “24 Oras” that he is courting Mika again after getting rejected by the actress last year.
In 2025, Will appeared in Mika's vlog, where he told her that she is his type among the female housemates in Bahay ni Kuya.
It can be remembered that during the PBB housemates' boys' night out, Emilio Daez had asked Will which female housemate he would confess to, and he named Mika.
“Delivery Boi” premiered on October 19 on GMA Afternoon Prime.
