Will Ashley candidly reveals he was rejected by Mika Salamanca when he courted her last year

Will Ashley said he was rejected by Mika Salamanca when he courted her last year.

The Nation’s Son made the revelation in Mika’s recent vlog, where they did the “24 Hours Jowa Challenge.”

“We reached the end of our contract. We have to said goodbye to our viewers as boyfriend and girlfriend," Mika said in Filipino at the end of the challenge.

But Will playfully denied Mika's instruction. "Look, if you hadn't rejected me last year, we could've been like this every day," he said in FIlipino.

Mika laughed it off, saying it’s a “topic for another day.”

Despite being rejected, Will said he is grateful that it happened.

“Look at us now, we're stronger as friends,” Mika added.

Mika and Will are both former housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0." Mika was hailed as the Big Winner along with her duo, Brent Manalo.

Will was the Second Big Placer along with his duo, Ralph De Leon.

It can be recalled that in August last year, Will also appeared in Mika's vlog, telling her that among the female housemates in Bahay ni Kuya, she is his type.

"Well, I think everyone knows naman na about this. Kasi since first week na sabi ko na, 'di ba?" Will answered.

During their boys' night out as housemates, Emilio Daez asked Will which female housemate he would confess to, and he named Mika.

"[Magko-confess] ako kay Mika kasi kilala ko siya sa social media lang. Siguro ang iko-confess ko sa kaniya is I wanna be friends with you more kahit sa labas. Sobrang bumilib ako kung paano siya mag-isip, kung gaano siya ka-strong as a person and kung gaano siya ka-understanding sa lahat ng bagay," Will said.

[I will confess to Mika because I only know her on social media. I think I'll tell her that I want to be friends even in the outside world. I was really impressed with our she thinks, how strong she is as a person, and how understanding she is with everything.]

"Gusto ko lang na ma-prove niya sa lahat ng tao kung sino talaga siya hindi lang sa kung paano siya nakilala sa social media," he added.

[I want to her to be able to prove to everyone who she really is, beyond social media.]

The pair are set to star in the upcoming Kapuso afternoon series “Delivery Boi.”
