Alden Richards grateful to supporters for 'genuine love'
Alden Richards expressed his gratitude to the people who have stood by him, choosing to focus on his blessings and those who support him amid online rumors.
According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Monday, the Asia's Multimedia Star thanked his supporters during the Hero for All 2026 awarding ceremony on Sunday evening.
"Too blessed to be stressed. I just want to thank the people who stood by me and those who showed their genuine love for me. I love you all very much," he said in Filipino and English.
During the ceremony, Alden had said that he takes pride in being a good person and encouraged attendees to practice kindness in their everyday lives.
“I really do believe that if there's one thing I'm proud of, sabihin ninyo nang mayabang ako, pero alam ko at the end of the day, I am a good person," he stated.
On Instagram on Sunday, the Kapuso actor also shared a photo of himself with his family, with the caption, "Too blessed."
Online rumors about Alden began circulating over the weekend, alleging that he had been lent a luxurious condominium unit by a wealthy couple during the pandemic and had yet to vacate it. He was also accused of failing to return luxury items he allegedly borrowed from the couple.
Following the allegations, several celebrities including AiAi delas Alas, Kuya Kim, and Betong Sumaya, among others, rallied behind Alden and shared stories of his generosity and kindness.
