Alden Richards gave a glimpse of the Halloween decorations outside his new home in an exclusive village in Makati City.

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the Sparkle star had the facade of his house decorated with Halloween-themed cutouts, including witches, pumpkin lanterns, ghosts, and lights.

"For me, it's also a way of healing my inner child because, growing up, I don't have vivid memories of participating in trick-or-treating. I really have a soft spot for kids. A lot of things were taken away from me when I was young. I wasn't able to live out my childhood, so doing something like this helps me heal," he said in Filipino and English.

The actor added that the decorations were not just for his enjoyment but were also intended to bring happiness to children.

He said he and his friend, designer Paul Infante, planned the Halloween display after learning that their village would allow children from different areas to visit and enjoy the residents' decorations.

"This is for the kids. This is not for me, this is not to flex or show off. I just want to give back because this year has been very good to me. I just can't wait to see their faces. I hope this becomes a core memory for them," Alden said.

Alden is set to star in “Code Grey.”

Other cast members include Andrea Torres, Christopher De Leon, Kristoffer Martin, Christian Bautista, Jon Lucas, and Faith Da Silva.

He also recently starred with Nadine Lustre in "Love, Siargao."
