A look at the floats of MMFF entries at the 2019 Parade of Stars

The eight films competing in the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) hit the road on Sunday for the annual Parade of Stars.

"People of Metro Manila, tayo nang lumabas sa ating mga kabahayan at kaway-kaway sa ating mga hinahangaang mga artista ng Pelikulang Pilipino," MMFF wrote on its official Facebook page.

MMFF gave a glimpse of the floats parading during the event.

Movie floats of entries "Mission Unstapabol," "Culion," "Write About Love," "3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon," "Miracle in Cell No. 7," "Sunod," "Mindanao" and "The Mall the Merrier" were to take part in the parade on the streets of Taguig City.

Kapuso stars Maine Mendoza and Vic Sotto will be starring in "Mission Unstapabol," while Jennylyn Mercado and Comedy Queen Ai ai delas Alas will be in "3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon."

Meanwhile, Carmina Villaroel will be on "Sunod," while Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Rocco Nacino will be starring in "Culion" and "Write About Love," respectively.

This year's MMFF Parade of Stars started at 12 noon at Lakeshore C-6.

Some roads in Taguig City will be closed for the duration of the parade.
